And after Paris another pop-up event, this time in London. During my daytrip yesterday, I discovered a nice Xmas pop-up store in Hampstead selling wonderful handicrafts from local artists. Unique home style pieces from Rachel Dormor and Maud and Mabel sit beautifully with contemporary garments and antique textiles by Livingstone Studio and paintings from Jo Oakley. The Christmas pop-up event is hosted by Oak Studio and takes place until Sunday.
Christmas pop-up event at Oak Studio, 8 Perrins Court, Hampstead NW3 IQS
Opening hours: Thu 22nd & Fri 23rd November 10am-8pm, Sat 24th & Sun 25th November 10am-6pm

British designer Lee Broom has entirely transformed his East London studio into the Crystal Bulb Shop for the latest London Design Festival – a general store complete with sawdust floor, mahogany counter and a shopkeeper. Two hundred of the bulbs are presented in crates, cabinets, weighing scales and jars, as well as hanging from the ceiling and reflected in mirrors.
